What Marejada is

Marejada is a free training planner for surfers, currently in beta. It reads the surf forecast and what you have logged, and suggests what to train each day. By creating an account or using the app you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

Not medical advice

Marejada is a training planner, not medical advice. If an injury is serious or getting worse, or the pain does not settle, see a physio or doctor.

The app adjusts training around injuries you tell it about, but it cannot examine you and does not diagnose or treat anything. If you have a health condition, are pregnant, or are unsure whether exercise is safe for you, check with a doctor before you start.

Exercising safely is your call

You decide what you actually do. Warm up, stop if something hurts, and scale back or skip anything that does not feel right. Surfing and training carry a real risk of injury, and you take part at your own risk. Forecasts can be wrong, so judge the conditions for yourself before you paddle out.

A beta, provided as is

Marejada is in beta. Features will change, things will sometimes break, and plans or logged data may occasionally be lost. The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, including any promise that it will be accurate, uninterrupted or suited to a particular purpose.

Limits on our liability

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for any injury, loss or damage that comes from using the app or following its suggestions. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that the law does not allow us to limit.

Your account

Keep your sign-in to yourself, and keep what you tell the app about your body and injuries accurate, because the plan depends on it. You can stop using Marejada at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close an account that is misused, and we may end the beta or the service at any time.

Your data

How we collect, use and protect your data, including what you tell us about injuries, is set out in the privacy policy.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the app develops. If a change is significant we will tell you in the app or by email. Using Marejada after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, USA, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute about them or about the app will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Colorado.
